About Me

This is what I do.

I am currently a Data Engineer at Paper where I build and maintain the data and recommender systems APIs and ELT pipelines for the Platform and our customers. I feel strongly about data quality and I work hard to provide visibility into realtime data quality and metrics reliability.

I did my MSc in physics at McGill University's VERITAS group where I worked with Prof. Ken Ragan. I worked in data analysis and tests of stability - both statistical and algorithmic (systematic), in addition to searches for interesting objects/phenomena in our archival data. I did my thesis project improving telescope resolution using maching learning algorithms (boosted decision trees). McGill retains copyrights to the final product so my thesis is hosted by them. As of this writing, it can be found here.

I did my undergraduate degree at New York University's Department of Physics  where I worked with Prof. Andy Haas at the NYU Department of Physics on the seach for millicharged particles at the LHC.

I also worked with Prof. Martijn Cloos at the NYU Langone Medical Center on MR Fingerprinting and Image reconstruction using machine learning (singular value decomposition).
